Origin

Designed in Austria. The fabric (AMNI SOUL ECO® and ROICA™ V550) comes from Brugnoli Giovanni S.p.A. in Italy. Cut and sewn in Portugal.

Care

Wash at 30 °C, air dry, don’t iron. Even though the yarns break down faster, please don’t put the leggings in your compost – take them to textile recycling or put them in household waste.

Product description

Tuesday evening at the bouldering wall, chalk on your hands, phone tucked in the waistband: these black sports leggings are already halfway up. They’re 65.6% AMNI SOUL ECO® and 34.4% ROICA™ V550, silky soft and reliably opaque.

The high, wide waistband stays where it is, your phone goes in the back pocket, your key in the small one at the front, and you don’t feel the flat seams. They’re climbing leggings that are welcome on the mat too, and high waisted leggings for a run round the park.

Both yarns break down faster in tests: AMNI SOUL ECO® up to 20x faster in marine environments and up to 10x faster in landfill than conventional polyamide (ASTM D6691/D5511), and ROICA™ V550 showed around 50% breakdown after 24 months in the OWS test. That’s the yarn, by the way, not your leggings in the drawer.

AMNI SOUL ECO® & ROICA™

AMNI SOUL ECO® is a polyamide yarn with accelerated decomposition: up to 20x faster in marine environments and up to 10x faster in landfill than conventional polyamide (ASTM D6691/D5511). We combine it with ROICA™ V550, a very stretchy elastane fibre that holds its shape; in an OWS test, around 50% of it degraded within 24 months. The fabric feels velvety, stretches a lot and keeps its shape through plenty of wear and washing. Colourfast and quick-drying.
